Shreya + Nitsen blended their Hindu and Jewish religions to create an all day event to celebrate their wedding and included so many beautiful details along the way. They loved fall wildflowers and dahlias in particular, so we sourced as many different varieties as we could find from local farms. Their Labor Day wedding was right on the cusp of summer and fall, so we kept a warm palette of corals, terracottas, rusts, and yellows with a few pastel pops of lavender and light blue. Transitioning the space from their Hindu ceremony and lunch in the morning to their Jewish ceremony and dinner reception in the evening took a lot of consideration, but visually cued a change and allowed the same space to get transformed from each event. A few small modifications and their mandap became a chuppah. Adding colorful taper candles and napkins and their green and earth toned lunch reception became an itimate dinner party.
